Mamas Galle Fort Roof Café and homestay is situated at 76 Leyn Baan Street in the world heritage site of Galle Fort.
Located in a beautifully restored mid nineteenth century shop house, it is close to the marine lighthouse, the ramparts, mosque and two minutes on foot from the fort's very own little beach.
There are two very comfortable and large air-conditioned suites, which occupy the first floor. The house has a ground floor dining area and a large shaded roof terrace cafe and chill out space, with spectacular views over rooftops to the sea The menu offers a choice of both western and traditional Sri Lankan foods, and the rice and curry is among the best in Galle.
